So little time
There are not enough hours in the day! As if I am not busy everyday; the weekends my son is with his dad, I try to get as much possible accomplished. I never want him to think he is not top priority, so I don't do homework or housework while he is here and awake. I was buying groceries at one o'clock this morning! If I could have a clone, I think I would invest in one. I am going to have gray hairs before I am thirty. It's a beautiful weekend and I am stuck doing homework and chores. I wonder why God only made twenty-four hours in the day?

A feel ya! With the exception of a quick trip to Academy, I have been inside this entire Saturday working on school work. My goal is to finish everything today and not have to worry about it Sunday! Keep at it!
ReplyDeleteI ask the same question sometimes! I try to do everything I can while the kids are at daycare/preschool because when we all get home I want to dedicate myself to hanging out with them. Not fussing over homework and chores. Good luck! It's hard.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness! You sound very busy! I hope this next week sslows down for you a bit and you are able to get some much needed relaxation :)
ReplyDeleteI can relate to trying to hae everything done so you can spend more time with your child. I do the same thing. However, this weekend I didn't get everything accomplished. I am going to have to make yardwork into a "fun" event for the both of us.
ReplyDeleteWhen my children were at home, I involved them in whatever I was doing--grocery shopping, cleaning, homework (I was in school, on and off, while they were growing up). They helped share the load; we did our homework together. They had an understanding of all the work involved in keeping a household running, and watching me struggle with my own coursework showed them the importance of learning.
ReplyDeleteI say "Get your children involved."
