There's no place like home
This week has been an absolute disaster with work, so I've been working at home a lot and was up all night last night trying to make some progress. I haven't been to bed since Thursday night and I'm a zombie! My son's first soccer game was this morning along with pictures, which was another disaster. My son hates pictures, so he made "silly" faces in all the team pictures, or so I think. My sister and my niece came in town from Arkansas to watch him play. Then we all had lunch and went shopping. I love when my family comes to visit me, but I dread going to visit them. I couldn't wait to move back to the city. In return, I had to leave all of my family! Every time they leave us though, it makes me very homesick. No matter how many miles away, the differences there might be, the country, or the city-There's no place like home!

Oh Adrien! I hope you can catch up on your rest. And I hope your situations get resolved! You are such a great Mom and I'm sure that some of the silly faces in the photo shoots were to get your attention too! I am glad that you are in my critique group--your comments and Bobbie's are very helpful! I wish you the best.

Yes, get some rest--hopefully, spring break will help with that.
ReplyDeleteI love my family, too, but I live in Coushatta, away from them, for a good reason--to preserve my sanity!
